Today we are returning to nature by Agro Tourism
According to time of year we can participate in several agro activities:

Olive Harvest (November / December)
Every year olive harvest is realized from end of November till end of December. We will be going to a farm early in the morning and assist with the olive collecting process. Then we will enjoy a light lunch in the farm under the olive trees.

Grape Harvest (September / October)
From the end of August till end of September people in villages are occupied with collecting grapes and making wine. We can join local people in vineyards for grape harvest and wine press. We can also have the chance to witness the cooking of dishes with "must" (grape residue).

Raki Distillation (October)
Tsipouro is a strong distilled spirit containing approximately 37% alcohol and is produced from the must-residue of the wine-press. The name tsipouro is used throughout the country, except for Crete, where the same spirit with a stronger aroma is known as tsikoudia. Also the Oriental name raki is used, from which the term "rakizio" is derived, used to refer to the drink's distillation process, which usually turns into a huge celebration among family, friends and neighbours. Just be careful with raki consumption!

Cooking Courses (All Year)
If you are interested in Cretan cuisine, Greek food, or you are just crazy about cooking, we invite you to join a traditional cooking course.
You will cook, taste and enjoy local recipes and prepare delicious dishes with the guidance of a professional cook. All dishes are made of genuine pure Cretan products such as olive oil, vegetables, cheese, meat, wine, etc. In addition, useful information about the herbs, olive oil and other ingredients is given, together with explanations of their nutritional value and usage. After cooking, we will all eat together enjoying local wine and bread, Greek music and nice stories...

Olive Oil and Wine Tasting (All Year)
Learn the secrets of the “Cretan gold” (=olive oil), in old and modern times, and treat yourself to exquisite wines! Our first stop is an ecological prototype farm cultivated by 5th generation owners that promote the traditional way of organic olive oil production – the olive oil is stone milled and cold pressed. We will be guided around their premises and have an olive-oil tasting. Then our guide will take us to two historical places associated with olive oil production in old times: the most impressive olive oil press dated back to 1800, located in a local monastery, and a family olive oil place located in a picturesque village. Continuing our exploration through a verdant landscape with orange and olive groves, we will visit a quaint winery. Escorted by an expert, we will navigate around the grounds and then taste their excellent wines, served with traditional meze.

DAY 4
In your last day on the island you can either have a cultural touch which will allure you with its historical magnificence and mystical ambience or enjoy the crystal clear waters around the island.

Our walking tour will allow us to visit the most important sites (the Archaeological Museum, the Cathedral, the ‘leather lane’ and the Market Hall) as well as the hidden spots that reflect the eclectic mix of influences that has given Chania its very unique atmosphere with a flavor of Florence and Venice, combined with the culture and character of Cretan people and traditions.
