DAY 4
Experience Mykonos by Archaeological Sites

Boat Trip to Ancient Site of Delos
Being located next to Apollo’s birthplace, the sacred island of Delos, Mykonos offers you the option of an exciting day cruise to one of the most important mythological, archaeological and historical sites in Greece. Delos had a position as a holy sanctuary for a millennium before Olympian Greek mythology made it the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. From its Sacred Harbor, the horizon shows the two conical mounds that have identified landscapes sacred to a goddess in other sites: one, retaining its pre-Greek name Mount Kynthos, is crowned with a sanctuary of Dionysus. You will depart from Mykonos to Delos, where you will have a guided tour at its Archaeological Site.

Boat Trip to Rineia
There are traces of habitation on Rineia from the 5th millennium B.C. Later the island stayed in the shadow of neighboring sacred Delos. In 530 B.C. tyrant Polycrates of Samos conquered the island and dedicated it to Apollo. This is the first historical report we have of Rineia. When the Athenians imposed a clearance on Delos, during the Peloponnesean War, and after their decision that no births or deaths should be allowed on the sacred island, Rineia became a vast necropolis. It was also a sanatorium for very ill people, not allowed to stay on Delos any longer. With the decline of Delos, Rineia was abandoned. Today it is only used as grazing land for herds transferred from neighboring Mykonos.

In the afternoon free time for shopping in town center
Shopping in Mykonos couldn't get any better than this. Shops are located conveniently close together and you can find anything you look for in town; fashion stores, jewelry stores, beauty stores, home deco stores, supermarkets, kiosks, souvenir shops, local brands as well as high end international brands, butchers, bookstores, IT&electrical device shops and music markets.

Enjoy the breathtaking Mykonian Sunset on board!
Between Delos and the coast of Rineia we have the chance of seeing most of the famous ruins of the sacred island and the buildings of the old city. Then we head back to Little Venice area where we can enjoy our drinks on board with the magic light of the sun setting over the Aegean Sea.

After the cruise, specially prepared farewell party is just waiting for us at a secret Hideaway built in a private beach bathed by the soothing Aegean waters, with full of Greek entertainment and luxurious vibes.

End of night – make a last tour of the town’s bars, ones who still have energy!

Departure transfer from the hotel to Mykonos Airport.
